How to use DialBop and fix call audio problems

Plug in your handset. Make a call. Check the sound.

Plugged in, but no sound?

Check the Audio or Speaker control on your phone screen. The handset button does not change the phone’s audio device.

1. Plug it in fully

Connect the handset to your phone. If you use an adapter, connect both ends fully. Remove the phone case if it blocks the plug. Do not force it.

2. Make a test call

Call someone you know. Keep the handset plugged in. Answer the call on your phone screen.

3. Check this control on your phone

iPhone

Look at the red circle.

Your phone may show Audio or Speaker here.

If it says Audio, tap it. Choose Headphones or your wired headset, if listed.

If it says Speaker, make sure speakerphone is off. Then listen through the handset.

Samsung and other Android phones

Find the Speaker control.

Make sure speakerphone is off.

If an audio device list opens, choose the wired headset or USB audio, if listed.

No headset in the list? End the call. Unplug the handset and adapter, then reconnect them. Try the call again. A wired headset may connect automatically without appearing in a list.

4. Turn up the call volume slowly

During the call, press the volume-up button on the side of your phone. Then adjust + VOL − on the handset.

Hold the earpiece to your ear. Keep the microphone end near your mouth. Ask the other person if they can hear you.

Still need help?

I still cannot hear anything

Disconnect other headphones or car audio for this test. Check that the plug is fully inserted.

If you use an adapter, it must support headset audio and calls. A plug that fits does not always mean it is compatible.

If available, try another wired headset with the same phone and adapter. Tell us which headset works.

They cannot hear me

Make sure Mute is off on the call screen. Keep the handset microphone uncovered and near your mouth.

Your adapter must support a headset microphone. If the problem occurs only in an app, try a normal phone call and check the app’s microphone permission.

The handset button does not work

Use the phone screen to answer and end the call. Button support can depend on the phone, adapter, and app.

Email support@dialbop.com. Send your order reference, phone model, and a photo of the plug and adapter. Tell us what happens when you make a call.
